South County Economic Summit Goes Virtual
Updated: Jul 20
For the past thirty years the South County Economic Development Council has a track record of delivering a strong Economic Conference focusing on where we stand, where we are going, and how we will get there. In this new normal we analyzed how we could continue to provide businesses and our communities with relevant and timely information without placing anyone at risk. We will be taking our Economic Summit virtual with a program taking place on October 2nd.
Though we will not be able to physically be together we are still able to highlight valuable information and strategic thinking about the San Diego market. As we now know the new normal will be different than we all expected as the year began. What will that look like? How will we all need to adjust to grow and thrive in a new climate? What impact will the new USMCA have on our region?
As always, we will hear from some of the most influential leaders in our community. Additionally, with the virtual aspect of this program we have been able to cast the net wider and attract intellectual resources from across the country. New perspectives will allow us to dive even deeper into the possibilities and opportunities on our doorstep.
To support the maximum number of businesses in our community our sponsors are bringing the Summit to you. We want to thank SDG&E for their continued support as our title sponsor and all they do for our community every day. US Bank, Cox Communications, Mission Federal Bank, and all our sponsors continue to provide amazing resources for all the businesses and residents in the South County.
The importance of information and access is priceless and thanks to our sponsors, will be complimentary to members of the South County Economic Development Council. As we look to the future and a recovery from the COVID-19 State of Emergency our sponsors wanted to provide all of you with the tools and resources to be successful.
