As part of its efforts to advance Economic Development in the South County region, South County Economic Development Council organizes seminars and bus tours, advertises in targeted publications, participates in trade shows, does business follow-ups, as well as other economic enhancement activities on a continuing basis.
South County Economic Development Council distributes several newsletters and publications to residents and business owners in the South San Diego region (as well as to selected entities from outside the region) on a bi-monthly basis. South County Economic Development Council organizes an Economic Summit on an annual basis. The Economic Summit gathers national, State, and local leaders from the United States, Mexico, and Canada to discuss and explore the needs of the region as the next century approaches.
